Einstein

Einstein is synonymous with genius, pacifism, pop icons and revolutionary physics made breathtakingly simple. The American Museum of Natural History was fortunate in 2002 to exhibit documents on loan from Jerusalem, and set out to create an ambitious and comprehensive exhibition capturing the scientist’s life and work.

Being the principal designer, I was conscious of interpreting Einstein’s science as integral to our modern world as it was during his day. Our team approach used temporary architectural compositions and materials featuring exposed technology, and set them in a direct and spirited spatial arrangement which aimed to reflect his passionate personality and continuing legacy.

This highly successful exhibition continues to travel to many venues around the world.
