California Academy of Sciences

Located in San Francisco the new Tusher African Center at the new Renzo Piano designed California Academy of Sciences will re-interpret the well-loved dioramas. Included, also, are live animal dioramas and a large penguin tank.

As principal designer with the Cinnabar company and the Academy’s curators, we aim to create a contemporary space which addresses current changes and issues in Africa’s natural world. At the same time it will allow the visitor to continue to wonder at the magnificence and detail of the heritage dioramas.
